This video demonstrates how to conduct a cryptococcal antigen lateral flow assay (CrAg LFA test), using the IMMY qualitative test, for the detection of cryptococcal infection.
This is an easy-to-use, point-of-care test that rapidly detects cryptococcal antigens in 10 minutes. CrAg screening is a critical diagnostic test in individuals with advanced HIV disease who have a CD4 cell count less than 200 cells/mm3. This video shows the IMMY CrAg test procedure.
